St Mary's Hare Park Primary School and Nursery

Facta Non Verba Action Not Words

Health and Safety

If your child is unwell, home is the best place for him/her.  Please not that, in normal circumstances, we are unable to accept responsibility for giving medication to children.  Where exceptional circumstances exist, however, (e.g. diabetes; allergies) the school will endeavour to support families in full consultation with relevant medical advice.

In the interests of health and safety, it is the School's policy that no jewellery of any kind should be worn in the Nursery or School e.g. earrings, bracelets, rings, etc.

Ever mindful of the safety of our children, all pupils are escorted to their  parent/carer at the end of the school day.  It is vital that the school are notified, in writing, if anyone other than the appointed carer will be collecting a child.

A pedestrian access only walkway runs across the front of the school building from the South Drive entrance. We encourage our families/visitors to use the pedestrian only gate, rather than the vehicular entrance, to access the grounds and the pedestrian walkway to reach the Main Entrance.
