YEAR 3 NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Our Year 3 pupils will be visiting the Natural History Museum in London. This visit forms part of their Spring term Science topic on rocks, with a particular focus on fossils and volcanoes. They will explore the Natural History Museum galleries, including exhibits related to fossils and geological displays up close, helping to inform and deepen their understanding of how fossils are formed, how volcanoes shape the Earth, and what these features can tell us about the past.

The children will need to be dressed in full school uniform and provided with a packed lunch in a small named drawstring bag or backpack. This should include a water bottle, a healthy snack (fruit or vegetables only).

They will leave school at 9.00am to walk to Gidea Park Station where they will travel by train to South Kensington station, followed by a short walk to the museum.

We anticipate returning to school by 3.00pm (train times permitting)
