Free Speech vs Hate Speech

This week’s National College advice sheet focuses on the very important area of free speech vs hate speech. Everyone in the UK has the right of ‘freedom of expression’, however, we do not have the right to say whatever we wish regardless of the feelings and values of others. The advice sheet reinforces the work we do in school with pupils about having a ‘positive digital footprint’.
